Jim Allen
If you are
unaware, Jim
has colon cancer. He will have been out of work a month on 6/8, and his chemo
begins on 6/13. I learned today that his finances will be short $1,500 each
month that he is out of work. His insurance cost does not stop and his child
support does not stop either, along with additional co-pays for every doctor
visits, medications and hospitalization. He is hoping and praying that he can go
back to work after one more month, which would put them $3,000 behind. He is
worried about losing his home, etc.
Due to the fact that STRESS is not good for anyone, but definitely not good for
a Cancer patient, Ivan and I have put together an Pay Pal account whereby if any
of you would care to make a donation to Jim while he is out of work for these
two months, which also could turn in to the entire 6 months, but no one knows
for sure what will happen as yet. I do know that Jim
wants to and will go back to
work as soon as possible.
We would appreciate anything and everything you all might be able to do. Please
feel free to share with more members of our family and your close friends if you
feel they would want to participate. I sent out an earlier email stating that if
we could find 75 donators who could put in $20 each, we could come up with $1500
a month. We are requesting $3000 as the goal, as the plan is for him to be out
of work for two months.
We’ll keep you up to date with donations made and how Jim is doing as often as
we get updates.
